Thank you to all our teams, participants, sponsors and supporters!
Thank you for your support!
We are so grateful to all our teams, participants sponsors and supporters for helping to make a difference for Fraser River White Sturgeon!
Your participation in this “catch, tag & release” event supports the Fraser River Sturgeon Conservation Society’s award-winning, volunteer driven monitoring and assessment program and our continued efforts to understand, protect and restore this ancient species.
The 2016 Sturgeon Conservation Challenge was an exhilarating day of tag and release sturgeon fishing on the mighty Fraser River between Mission & Chilliwack.
Data collected from the Sturgeon Conservation Challenge is used to guide the FRSCS scientific research priorities, advocacy and education strategies. Our data enables our experts to report on the health of the sturgeon population, make recommendations for better resource management and take action in priority areas that will benefit sturgeon.
Want to get in on the action and make a difference?! Save the date!
We are pleased to announce our 2017 Sturgeon Conservation Challenge event will be held on October 19-20, 2017. Stay tuned for registration details!
The FRSCS is non-profit, charitable society. Funds raised support conservation efforts, advocacy and education to protect and restore the Fraser River white sturgeon. Visit regularly for updates on our events and ways you can help.
