The Fraser River Sturgeon Conservation Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the Fraser River white sturgeon.
Our vision is a Fraser River white sturgeon population that is strong, healthy and naturally sustaining for future generations.

Adopt a Sturgeon
The FRSCS Adopt a Sturgeon Program is an interactive program that allows 'adoptive parents' to track their fish and learn more about its habitat, issues affecting its survival and its life story through our research and recapture history. Each adoption includes tagging information, the general river location where it has been sampled, its growth and updates on ongoing recaptures. You will also receive breaking news about sturgeon discoveries, upcoming events and the opportunity to renew your adoption each year!.
Adopting a Sturgeon is a great gift for the fishing enthusiast and the conservationist in your life.

You can donate online for your adoption or contact us directly. Once complete, you will receive details of your adoption and a link to view your fish. For Experience Adoptions, be sure and send us a photo of your fish for our adoption page!
The FRSCS has charitable status and welcomes your donation of any amount (outside the Adoption program). Our registered charity business number is 86735 0282 RR0001, and our BC Society Number is S-0037432. Charitable tax receipts can be issued for donations to the Society as per regulations Your donation information will not be shared, sold or used for any purpose other than outlined in our Adopt a Sturgeon program.
